The mission of GreenInfo Network is to bring the power of computer based mapping to non-profits, public agencies and other public interest organizations. They enable groups to more effectively show the relationships between issues, people and places. They provide groups who use/want to use GIS with:
• Advice on choosing the right software for the task and the organization
• Design consulting for setting up GIS inside an organization
• Training at beginning, intermediate or advanced skill levels
• Ongoing advising and troubleshooting
The GreenInfo Network staff understands how non-profits work and can offer focused and friendly consulting on how to use GIS. They careful to not apply a one-size-fits-all approach to GIS needs, and often recommend lower-tech and lower-cost approaches than a full GIS implementation.
