Current t4cd Projects

t4cd is currently working in partnership on seven projects, six of which are field based, primarily in Southern Africa.  The following pages describe each of the projects in turn:

Daily Diary - trial of an innovative new wildlife monitoring technology

dSimba logger - development stripped-down GPS-logger designed for use by field patrols

t4cd Technologies for Conservation Course - developed in partnership with the Southern African Wildlife College, free course materials available to all users on this site

SMS Communities - use of a mass SMS system to enhance communication between Kruger Park staff & local communities

t4cd Hub - development of information network supporting conservation & development practitioners using technologies

ZWIMS - implementation of a centralised GIS database of the Zambezi ecosystem

NCF - collaboration with the Nigerian Conservation Foundation to identify opportunities for technology to enhance conservation initiatives in Taraba State
